African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC), the CRDI and United Nations University International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH) have come together to organise a webinar on Gender and COVID-19. The aim of this webinar is to strengthen regional debate and networking with experts and specialists in the subject in Francophone Africa.
This session will be moderated by Dr Cheikh Faye from APHRC, West Africa Regional Office, Dakar. The invited speakers are:
– Dr Namizata Binate Fofana, Assistant Professor at the University of Cocody-Abidjan, Head of the Gender and Development Unit at the Ivorian Center for Economic and Social Research (CIRES), Advisor for Gender and Research at the Ministry of the Family and of the Child in Ivory Coast;
– Dr Marie Gloriose Ingabire, Regional Advisor at CRDI in Dakar; and
– Dr Michelle Remme, Research Lead at the United Nations University International Institute of Global Health.
